Anastasia met with the Civic Blinds Vancouver sales specialist Mike at her property to go over product styles, fabrics, and design options that would suit her needs. The vision was to upgrade the window coverings to a more contemporary style that would enhance the beauty of the space.
The large floor-to-ceiling windows provide the suite with beautiful panoramic vistas of the city but were also causing the suite to become very hot during the summer months. With this in mind, Mike suggested a 0.5% solar roller shade for the living room, dining room, and kitchen. This shade would lower the heat gain by up to 40% while still allowing filtered natural sunlight into the room.
The main concerns were blocking the unobstructed views from the neighboring condos and darkening the room for a night of better sleep in the bedrooms. Anastasia decided to go with light grey blackout roller shades for the bedrooms and bathrooms. These shades keep out all the sunlight and provide 100% privacy when needed.
