5-Year Limited Warranty Coverage Includes:

• All internal mechanisms

• Components and brackets

• Control cords for five (5) years from the date of purchase

• Fabric separation

• Repairs or replacements carried out using parts or products that are similar or identical in function and quality to the original components

Additional Component Coverage:

• Civic Blinds Motorized Components are covered for five (5) years from the date of purchase

• Civic Blinds Solar Panels are covered for one (1) year from the date of purchase

This Warranty Does Not Include:

• Conditions due to normal wear and tear

• Unauthorized repairs, accidents, alterations, misuse, or abuse

• Damage caused by exposure to the elements

• Fabric conditions such as frayed edges or wrinkles due to user error or improper use

• Issues resulting from customer reprogramming of motors, remotes, or smart hubs

• Products installed in areas of high humidity or within 8 inches of a heater or furnace vent

Resolution of Warranty Claims

In the event of a defect covered under this warranty, the purchaser must notify Civic Blinds immediately upon first discovery of the defect. Continued use of a defective product may result in additional damage and may void warranty coverage.

Upon receipt and inspection of the product, Civic Blinds will determine whether the defect is covered under warranty. If covered, the product will be repaired or replaced at Civic Blinds’ discretion. If not covered, Civic Blinds will advise the owner of available options to address the issue at the owner’s expense.

Once 30 days from the installation date have elapsed, Civic Blinds will not be responsible for installation costs related to special equipment required to repair or replace blinds installed above 12 feet (measured from the floor to the top of the window frame). If scaffolding or special ladders are required, they will be provided at the client’s expense.

Additional Considerations

This warranty is exclusive and replaces all other obligations, liabilities, or warranties, whether expressed or implied. Civic Blinds and its distributors or retailers shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages, or any other direct or indirect loss, cost, or expense.

Some provinces or states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so certain limitations may not apply. Warranty terms for commercial products or applications may differ from those for residential products.
